How do I … ?

Reading the manual will only take you so far. There’s an art form behind making sounds beyond just twisting knobs. What’s the difference between a Pulse wave and Square wave? What do they sound like? What are the functions used in FM synthesis and how will they manipulate the sound? How do you ‘see’ what a sound looks like, and how do you make your own like that?

Our experts can help you understand all of these functions as well as guide you in your own sound making. This is an advanced class so if you’re just learning, you might want to check out our Synthesis Basics course.
